About Course

The ISO 42001 AI Management Systems — Lead Implementer Certification Course is an intensive, instructor-led training program designed for professionals tasked with planning, deploying, managing, and improving AI Management Systems (AIMS) within their organizations in accordance with the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 standard.

This course equips participants with the advanced knowledge, project management strategies, and documentation techniques needed to lead full-scale ISO 42001 implementation projects, from policy development to operational control and audit readiness. It combines global best practices with hands-on exercises to help participants drive organizational readiness for AI governance, compliance, and certification.


Course Format and Certification

  • Duration: 4 days (16 hours total)

  • Delivery: Live, instructor-led virtual sessions with case studies, document templates, simulation workshops, and peer group discussions

  • Final Assessment: Optional 150-minute practical and multiple-choice exam (80 questions, online on-demand)

  • Passing Score: 75% or higher

  • Certification: Participants who pass the final exam will be awarded the ISO 42001 Lead Implementer Certificate and may use the “ISO 42001-LI” designation professionally

  • CPE Credits: 16 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits awarded upon completion (exam optional)
